APEX Group (“APEX”), a leading developer and operator of ‘green’ hydrogen electrolysis plants for the decarbonization of industry, infrastructure and mobility, has concluded a feasibility study for the hydrogen cooperation “H2 Alliance Osnabrück” together with its subsidiary Plant Engineering GmbH, a company specializing in engineering and consulting services for hydrogen and energy technology. The results provide a basis for concrete project development.
The companies Georgsmarienhütte, KME Germany, Q1 Energie, EWE and Kompetenznetz Individuallogistik e.V. (KNI) want to jointly implement hydrogen projects in the Osnabrück economic region and thus advance the transformation of the region on the path to climate neutrality. As part of “H2 Alliance Osnabrück”, the partners are planning, among other things, the construction of a hydrogen production plant with mobile hydrogen filling stations for heavy-duty transport at the Q1 sites. The filling stations could be used to supply the vehicles of KNI member companies from the logistics industry and all other vehicles with green hydrogen. In addition, there are plans to connect Georgsmarienhütte and KME Germany to the hydrogen production plant.
APEX Group (“APEX“), a leading developer and operator of ‘green’ hydrogen electrolysis plants for the decarbonization of industry, infrastructure and mobility and a 100% subsidiary of exceet Group SCA (ISIN LU0472835155), is expanding its management team as part of its growth strategy and has appointed Bert Althaus (45) as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective October 1, 2023. In his role, he will be responsible for the finances of the group and support the capital markets strategy as the basis for implementing the company’s growth strategy. Since its acquisition by exceet Group SCA in January 2023, APEX Group has significantly expanded both its portfolio of milestone projects in the German hydrogen market and its project pipeline. In addition, the strategy of becoming one of the leading decentralized suppliers of green hydrogen in Europe has been driven forward successfully, as highlighted by the planned construction of an electrolysis plant with a capacity of up to 600MW in Lubmin.
APEX Group, a leading developer and operator of green hydrogen electrolysis plants for the decarbonization of industry, infrastructure and mobility, announces a major project in collaboration with Resato Hydrogen Technology (“Resato”), Assen/Netherlands, an EPC partner of hydrogen refueling solutions: a hydrogen refueling station for trains on the Heidekrautbahn in Basdorf, Germany. This initiative follows previous successful collaborations between Resato and APEX Group in the field of hydrogen mobility with buses.
APEX Group (“APEX”), a leading developer and operator of “green” hydrogen electrolysis plants for the decarbonization of industry, infrastructure, and mobility and a 100% subsidiary of exceet Group SCA (ISIN LU0472835155, WKN A0YF5P), has signed an agreement to acquire three strategically important plots of land in Lubmin from EWN Entsorgungswerk für Nuklearanlagen GmbH. In the future, APEX plans to produce hydrogen on the site with up to 600 MW of installed electrolyser capacity. Completion of the first construction stage is already planned for 2027. APEX will construct the plants and subsequently take over their operation as the owner. For the construction of plants to supply electricity and water and for wastewater disposal, there are intensive talks with other interested parties at the site to jointly build the necessary infrastructure.
Resato Hydrogen Technology (“Resato”), Assen/Netherlands, a leading developer and EPC partner of hydrogen refueling solutions, is proud to announce its extended collaboration with APEX Group (“APEX”), a leading developer and operator of green hydrogen electrolysis plants for the decarbonization of industry, infrastructure and mobility. The partnership was initially established by setting up a hydrogen refueling station for trucks at the APEX headquarter in Rostock-Laage in 2022.
The APEX Group (“APEX”), a leading developer and operator of green hydrogen electrolysis plants for the decarbonization of industry, infrastructure and mobility and a 100% subsidiary of exceet Group SCA (ISIN LU0472835155), is entering into a strategic cooperation with Argo-Anleg GmbH (“Argo-Anleg”), a provider of high-tech solutions in the field of hydrogen and hydrogen ecosystems. Within the scope of the partnership, Argo-Anleg will purchase 120 pressure vessels for hydrogen storage from APEX for a total price of around EUR 1 million. In turn, APEX has signed a purchasing agreement with Argo-Anleg for valves which APEX will use in the certification of its pressure vessels.
Argo-Anleg is a pioneer in the hydrogen market and specializes in the construction of innovative prototypes and small batches in various fields of application. In addition, the company has developed many of its own components, including valves, which play an essential role in the certification and operation of hydrogen pressure vessels. The valves that APEX will purchase are adapted and approved to APEX’s specifications, and APEX will also obtain the usage rights for these valves. In return, Argo-Anleg benefits from APEX’s expertise in the construction of hydrogen tanks. Argo-Anleg will use the pressure vessels supplied by APEX for hydrogen transport solutions.
